Getting here

Bad Kreuznach is connected directly to the A 61 motorway via the four-lane B 41, together with the B 48 and the B 428. From Mainz and Koblenz, the route runs via the A 61 and the Nahetal motorway junction onto the A 60 to the Bad Kreuznach exit.

By train, the town is served by the RE 3, which links Frankfurt, Frankfurt Airport and Mainz with Idar-Oberstein and Saarbrücken, and by the RB 33 from Mainz.

Who works here

The companies the town itself names include Michelin, with its largest production site in Germany, KHS AG, PALL Filtersystems, Josef Schneider Optische Werke, Allit AG and Meffert Farbwerke. There is also the Kreuznacher Diakonie with its hospitals and facilities.

Rümmelsheim: right by the A 61

Our apartment Im Bumert 3a is in Rümmelsheim, in the Trollbach valley north of Bad Kreuznach and south of Bingen. The village has direct access to the A 61.
