Brine and radon
The town's most important local natural remedy is brine, together with radon as a spa treatment. In the Sanitätsrat Dr. Jöckel tunnel, a disused mercury mine on the edge of the spa district, radon has been used for inhalation since 1912.
The Salinental valley
The Salinental valley lies between Bad Kreuznach and Bad Münster am Stein. According to the tourist information office, its graduation towers form Europe's largest open-air inhalatorium. Salt has been produced here since 1732.
The crucenia thermen
The crucenia thermen, run by the municipal utility, are in the spa quarter on the bank of the Nahe, on Kurhausstraße. The indoor and outdoor pools are filled with warm, mineral-rich healing water.
Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg
Since 2014, Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg has also been part of Bad Kreuznach, a mineral spa and climatic health resort. Between Norheim and Bad Münster rises the Rotenfels, according to the tourist information office the highest cliff face between the Alps and Scandinavia.
